Crypto Fear And Greed Index – Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile application Crypto Fear And Greed Index (the “App”), operated by IT Sols and Services (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information and forms part of these Terms.
Use of the App
The App shows crypto market sentiment data and statistics derived from it for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with applicable law. You are responsible for any decisions you make and for keeping your device secure.
Information, Not Advice
Everything in the App, including the Fear & Greed Index, the Super Index and per-coin scores, the simulator, the daily brief, and any alert, is provided for general information and education only. It is not financial, investment, trading, legal or tax advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. We do not know your circumstances. Crypto assets are highly volatile and you can lose the money you put into them. Before making any financial decision, do your own research and consider seeking advice from a qualified professional.
Data Sources and Availability
The App relies on data published by third parties, including alternative.me (the Crypto Fear & Greed Index), Binance and CoinGecko, and on our own service that processes that data. We do not control those sources. Figures may be delayed, incomplete, revised, or unavailable, and we do not guarantee that anything shown in the App is accurate, complete, or up to date. Historical simulations are illustrations that ignore fees, taxes, and slippage, and past performance does not predict future results. We may change how any score is calculated, add or remove coins, or discontinue any feature at any time.
The Daily Brief
The daily brief is written automatically by an artificial-intelligence language model from that day’s market figures. It is not reviewed by a person before it is shown. It may contain errors, omissions, or awkward phrasing, and it describes what the data shows rather than predicting what will happen. Treat it as a summary of numbers you can check for yourself in the App, never as advice.
Alerts
Alerts are provided on a best-effort basis. Delivery depends on your device settings and on notification services operated by Apple and Google, and an alert may be delayed or not arrive at all. Threshold alerts are sent once, on the day the index crosses the level you chose. Do not rely on an alert to make or time any financial decision.
Pro Subscription
Where offered, some features are available through an optional “Pro” subscription. Prices and billing periods are shown in the App before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account on confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings, and cancelling stops future renewals without refunding the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. You can restore an existing purchase on another device with the “Restore purchase” button. We may change what Pro includes, or its price for new periods, with notice through the App or the store.
Not Affiliated
The App is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by alternative.me, Binance, CoinGecko, Apple, Google, or any exchange, wallet, or crypto asset. “Crypto Fear & Greed Index” refers to the publicly published index and is used descriptively.
Intellectual Property and Copyright
The App, including its design, code, text, scores, and graphics, is owned by IT Sols and Services or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Third-party data remains the property of its publishers. You may share screenshots and cards generated by the App for personal, non-commercial purposes; you may not copy, modify, sell, or redistribute the App or its data, or use them to build a competing service.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App; not to access our service by any means other than the App or in a way that places unreasonable load on it; not to interfere with its security or with other users; and not to use the App for any unlawful purpose.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any loss or damage, including any trading or investment loss, and any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App, its data, the daily brief, or any alert. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to the App and These Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature, and we may update these Terms, at any time. Changes to these Terms will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date, and continued use of the App after they are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. This does not override any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your home jurisdiction.
